Deutsche Bank has appointed Anand Iyer as head of trust and securities services ( TSS ) for Asean, in addition to his existing global responsibilities for TSS – custody and funds – client management and service.
Based in Singapore, he is responsible for driving the continued growth and development of the bank's TSS franchise across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
In his Asean role, Iyer will focus on strengthening client relationships, advancing market infrastructure initiatives, and enhancing the bank's custody and fund services capabilities across the region.
Iyer has been with Deutsche Bank for more than 20 years, holding a range of roles focused on custody and fund services, including global head of business risk and control unit and head of client service operations in India.
Deutsche Bank's trust and securities services platform provides custody, clearing, issuer, agency and trust services to financial institutions, corporates and investors.
