SynaXG Technologies, an AI-RAN ( artificial intelligence-radio access network ) provider founded in Singapore, has raised over US$20 million in its first funding round.
The financing, led by January Capital, Vertex Ventures, and Qualgro. positions the fintech start-up as an emerging leader in AI-native wireless infrastructure.
Founded by industry veteran Xin Huang, SynaXG aims to become the world’s leading provider of AI-RAN solutions and physical AI infrastructure. The company, supported by a highly specialized team with decades of wireless expertise, has been a rapidly rising player in full-stack AI-RAN software and related solutions.
“SynaXG is building products and solutions for the next generation of AI-powered wireless infrastructure,” says Chin Chao, partner at January Capital. “A true deep-tech AI-powered wireless-infrastructure start-up is rare in this part of the world, and SynaXG is well-positioned to pioneer the next wave of innovation in this space. The team has both the ambition and the capability to shape the future of AI-driven connectivity, and we are proud to support them.”
The new capital will be used to accelerate SynaXG’s product roadmap, strengthen its global engineering teams, and deepen collaborations with telecom operators and enterprise partners worldwide.
To support its expansion plans, SynaXG is now preparing for its upcoming Series A fundraising, aimed at expanding commercial rollouts and advancing AI-native RAN adoption across global markets.
AI-RAN is the next-generation wireless architecture where AI is embedded directly into radio networks. This shift is foundational to the emerging era of physical AI, where AI interacts with the real world – robotics, autonomous systems, drones, industrial automation, and smart devices. These applications require ultra-low latency, high reliability, and real-time adaptability, making AI-RAN the core enabling infrastructure.
“We believe AI-RAN is the foundation of the next technology revolution – much like the iPhone reshaped the mobile era,” SynaXG’s Huang says. “With four years of pioneering work and strong global partners, we are ready to scale and lead the next generation of AI-native wireless networks and Physical AI.”
The global momentum behind AI-RAN was highlighted when Nvidia announced a US$1 billion investment in Nokia for AI-RAN development.
