Singapore-headquartered Asian data centre provider Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has appointed Niall Hannigan as its group chief financial officer (CFO), effect from June 3.
With more than 30 years of experience, Hannigan has a track record of value creation across the energy and real estate sectors. Most recently, he was the CFO of Masdar, one of the world’s largest renewable energy companies.
With over 14 years at Masdar as its finance leader, he was instrumental in scaling the company from start-up mode to a portfolio of 20 gigawatts across 40 countries with a combined value of more than US$30 billion.
Prior to that, he was the CFO and regional CFO, respectively, of Zabeel Properties and Emaar Properties (a listed real estate company). He has also worked at Colliers and KPMG.
“Hannigan is a true global leader who has been successful across cultures and business contexts,” said Rangu Salgame, PDG’s chairman, CEO and co-founder. “His experience across renewable energy and real estate will be very valuable to the company and complements our leadership team as we strive to strengthen our position as one of the top data centre operators serving the world’s largest AI [artificial intelligence] and cloud companies.”
