Temasek Financial to debut dual-tranche offering
Proceeds from issuance of four- and 10-year bonds to fund ordinary course of business
The Asset 8 Feb 2023

Temasek Financial (I) (TFin-I), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Singapore state-owned investment firm Temasek Holdings, intends to launch a dual-tranche offering comprising a four-year T2027-EUR Temasek Bond and a 10-year T2033-EUR Temasek Bond.

The bonds, which will be issued by TFin-I under its US$25 billion guaranteed global medium-term note programme, will be unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Temasek.

Temasek has an overall corporate credit rating of Aaa by Moody’s Investors Service and AAA by S&P Global Ratings.

TFin-I intends to provide the net proceeds from the issuance of both bonds to Temasek and its investment holding companies to fund their ordinary course of business.

Application will be made for the listing and quotation of the bonds on the official list of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading platform. They will be offered outside the United States only to non-US persons under Regulation S of the US Securities Act of 1933.
